Case Study
Your house has a search bar now. Map your rooms, shelves, and bins, then find anything in seconds.
The problem
Every home has the same search engine: standing in the garage, holding a box lid, shouting “have you seen the phone charger?” The stuff isn’t lost. It’s in a bin, on a shelf, in a closet — somewhere. The knowledge of which somewhere lives in one family member’s head, if it lives anywhere.
WhatDo?! solved this for the kitchen: know what you have, where it is, and what you can do with it. WhereThat?! is the same idea for the rest of the house.
Our approach
Next up from the studio
Your house has a search bar now. Map your rooms, shelves, and bins, then find anything in seconds. WhatDo?! covers the kitchen; WhereThat?! covers the rest of the house.
Under the hood
WhereThat?! is SwiftUI, sharing the design language and local-first instincts of the WhatDo?! family: your home inventory is yours, so the personal layer stays on device with private sync rather than on our servers.

What's next
WhereThat?! is in active development. The landing page is live at wherethatapp.com, and the app is headed for the App Store once the core map-and-search loop is worthy of the tagline.
We’re taking on a small number of new projects this year. Drop a note.
